Having advised both institutional and retail clients for 30 years, Scott brings a capital markets-focused approach to his core planning activities at Hawthorne Financial. Prior to joining Hawthorne in 2013, Scott spent 15 years working as a Senior Vice President of Fidelity Investment Institutional Services Company, marketing the firm's extensive product platform to many of the Midwest's most notable investment advisory groups. Applying Fidelity's vast technical resources within the advisory community has allowed Scott to develop a sophisticated investment advisory model blending credit markets and macro trends into individual and corporate client circumstance.
Prior to his work with Fidelity, Scott spent 10 years as a registered principal and regional manager with Woodbury Financial Services and Cigna Financial Advisors.
Scott received a Finance Degree from Eastern Illinois University and holds series 7, 63, 65, 22 and 24 securities, life and health licenses.
Scott currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for “ Friends of Kids with Cancer” and chairs the Finance and Audit committee.
When not working with his clients, Scott spends much of his free time with his family and looking after his farm. He enjoys traveling, golf, biking and running, and lives in Clayton with his wife, Katrina.

Dennis has been working in the financial services industry since 1975. First learning the life and health insurance marketplace he moved early on into the qualified plan business. As an agent and a registered representative, Dennis concentrated on qualified retirement plan design, administration and funding. For 17 years, Dennis built a successful practice concentrating in the areas of financial planning, wealth management and investment & insurance consulting. In 1992 Dennis co-founded Hawthorne Financial, where he continues to build his practice. Dennis earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has also earned his CLU designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA. Dennis is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Investment Management Consultants Association. Non-work interests include having served on numerous charitable association boards, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The St. Louis Blues 14 Fund. Dennis and his wife reside in Clayton, MO.

Bill has been working in the financial services industry since 1986. Prior to joining Hawthorne Financial, he was a Vice President and Financial Consultant for Fidelity Investments Private Client Group where he was responsible for over 400 households and over $1.5 billion of assets. He has helped his clients navigate the complexities of financial planning by drawing from his vast experiences as a retirement consultant at Fidelity Investments. Additionally, Bill's clients gain from his prior investment experience as a portfolio manager and futures and options trader with Advance Data Corporation and Verdi Bach Partnership. His true passion for investing relies on both technical and fundamental analysis when creating portfolios and managing risk for his clients all coordinated under a comprehensive financial plan.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Webster University and maintains his series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 66 securities licenses as well as his insurance license.
Bill lives in Town & Country with his wife Lisa and enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid golfer and musician and has played for organizations such as Pianos for People, Life Skills and other local charities.

In his 25-year career with Fidelity, he has helped his clients with the complexities of financial planning by drawing on his education, experience and background as a Certified Financial Planner®. His true passion is in working with clients to develop a financial plan and design a portfolio strategy to help achieve their goals, while at the same time being flexible to changing market and economic conditions.
Nick earned dual undergraduate degrees in economics and business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Missouri - St Louis. While an undergraduate, he also earned a Pierre Laclede Honors Certificate. He also earned a masters in economics from UMSL. He earned his Certified Financial Planner® designation in May of 2006 and holds a series 7, 8, 63, 66 securities, life and health licenses. He has also passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst exam.
Nick lives in Saint Charles with his wife Elena and their two small children. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, fishing, and spending time at their farm.
